I’ve been on holiday so there was no normal Wednesday morning workday this week. We went to Lanzarote and enjoyed a week of wall-to-wall sunshine. It was divine. We hired bikes to get about so the kids were not constantly complaining about having to walk everywhere. It worked very well.
In my absence, I found a couple of YouTube vids of the path.
Before anyone starts to write in, leave comments, or get into a froth, I do not know who did these drone videos, I don’t know if they have all the licences and permissions, I don’t know nothing…
What I do know, though, is that these videos are the dog’s goolies…
Enjoy!!
If you look closely, you can see our picnic benches. Aren’t they absolutely gorgeous!!
Which leads me nicely onto the news that we have been given a grant from Warwickshire County Council for two round picnic benches on the northern part of the path, plus concrete bases and secure fixings.
This means that the people who live more towards Bilton, rather than Cawston, can enjoy a picnic and green-time, rather than sitting at home with just screen-time.
This is a great opportunity for a local business to come and do some green-volunteering with your staff.
First come – first served!! It will be a lot of fun and extremely satisfying.
Back on it next Wednesday.
Until then,

I can see the round one, is that yours?
It’s all mine. It was an unofficial rubbish tip when I started 14 years ago. I am really pleased with it now. I just wish other people would find something, anything, to get passionate about and find that little buzz in life!! 😉
Must be so satisfying seeing it like this.
Beautiful post
Aah, glad you like it 😉
Hey Paul, thanks for liking my post! It’s great to know that you enjoyed your time on Lanzarote. Also, thank you for introducing me to Cawston and Warwickshire. I’ve been travelling in the UK for two months but I didn’t really know about them. They look beautiful!
I am pretty passionate about Warwickshire. I love the green rolling fields of the countryside and the quaint little towns steeped in history 😊
Thanks
😀
That was really a breathtaking view!
😀
“Dog’s goolies”? Have to say I’ve not heard that one on this side of the pond.
I was trying to be polite(ish) it’s normally a bit more crude 😀
Beautiful post please like my post freinds
