Cawston Greenway Nature Trail was established in 2010 to provide members of the community an opportunity to volunteer their time to help improve and maintain the pathway and surrounding designated area.
Paul Hayden-Hart was granted a licence to oversee the various projects throughout the year and is responsible for liaising with the landowners regarding this. As such he is also the co-ordinator of the volunteer group.
The aim of the project is to create a group of volunteers coming together to offer help with the timetabled and organised activities. All organised workdays are fully insured, varied and obviously appropriate for each season. Paul posts details of the scheduled work for each month on the CAWSTON GREENWAY BLOG. So if there is something of particular interest to you, please come along and try us out.
All volunteers are welcome and regular commitment isn’t obligatory either so please don’t let that be a barrier to joining in.
